On 16th of December, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, we successfully hosted a fundraising event in collaboration with doTERRA Australia, a global essential oils and wellness products company, to support Make-A-Wish Australia.
Make-A-Wish Australia is a non-profit organisation dedicated to granting unforgettable, special wishes to children battling critical conditions. This organisation is committed to inspiring hope and courage in children and their families, creating positive changes in their lives. This event was held in the spirit of Christmas to support the essential mission of Make-A-Wish Australia and help grant more wishes to children in need.
Teambros values giving back to the community during the festive season every year. This year marks the second time Teambros Fitness Club has raised funds for Make-A-Wish Australia, and we felt great joy and fulfillment to once again participate in this meaningful activity. Last year, we held a Silent Disco event, where we shared diverse gifts with members and collected donations in a warm and cheerful atmosphere.
This year, in partnership with doTERRA, we offered a unique experience centered around enhancing our members' mental and emotional well-being. Members had the opportunity to create personalised aroma oil blends tailored to their emotions and moods. They selected two essential oils from various options, including Cheer, Console, Forgive, Motivate, Passion, and Peace.
Additionally, the doTERRA experts provided brief explanations about the emotional benefits of the chosen scents. Each participant received a sample of their custom roll-on oil and learned practical tips on how to apply it to specific areas of the body daily to maintain emotional balance and uplift their spirits.
This experience was made available for a small donation, with all proceeds going directly to support Make-A-Wish Australia. Although we initially set a goal of $500, thanks to the warm hearts and support of Teambros members, we raised an amazing $605. This contribution allowed us to make a small but meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families this Christmas.
We sincerely thank everyone who participated and helped us make this event a resounding success.
